The economists are divided on whether the RBI will continue to cut the repo, especially since the rate has already been trimmed by 100 bps since Feb. Yes, there has been a slump in demand and that may tempt the RBI to go for one more cut, but the prevailing geopolitical scenario may cause the RBI to wait and watch.

Here are some compelling arguments for and against a repo cut. What do you think? Will August see another cut?
