The RFAI (Regime Fiscal de Apoio ao Investimento) is Portugal's investment tax relief: it turns part of a company's eligible investment into a credit deducted straight from its corporate income tax. This short walkthrough shows the free calculator, the 30% rate in the eligible regions, the 50%-of-tax cap that limits how much you can use in the period, and the 10-period carry-forward.

Region matters: Lisbon city and most of the Algarve get no RFAI at all.
